Calculation Methodology: Unit cost is calculated using industry-standard multipliers based on device size (√size/25), production volume (scaling from 2.5x at 1K units to 0.55x at 1M units), and device type complexity. Material costs include adhesive selection (acrylic: $0.35, silicone: $0.65, hybrid: $0.85 per 25cm²), backing materials, and electronics if applicable. Manufacturing costs scale with volume and complexity. Additional costs include packaging, sterilization, quality control, and overhead. All estimates are based on industry benchmarks for contract manufacturing and should be considered rough approximations that will vary based on specific requirements, location, and supplier relationships.
