About the Work

Aim Medical Robotics (Worcester, MA) is developing the world's only commercially viable, MRI-compatible surgical robotic platform. With fifteen years of research behind the technology and a Series B raise on the horizon, they came to Launch by Boyd with a clear mandate: build a powerhouse brand — one that looks, sounds, and presents itself with absolute clarity and confidence. We became their full-service agency for strategy, brand, creative, marketing, and communications.

Our Work

Strategy

A Series B raise demands more than a compelling technology story — it demands a brand that investors, surgeons, and hospital systems trust on first contact. We built that foundation through a multi-week brand strategy engagement: competitive evaluation and positioning, stakeholder-specific messaging, brand architecture, traction narrative, and brand promise. The result is a strategic platform that gives Aim a clear, defensible market identity and the intelligence to make every go-to-market, creative, and communications decision with confidence.

Creative & Design

A technology this precise deserves a brand identity to match. The new Aim Medical Robotics visual system — built on hand-drawn letterforms, a custom icon, and a commanding navy palette with warm earthy accent tones — projects the clinical credibility and human weight that neurosurgery demands. The system is engineered to perform across every environment Aim competes in, from a business card to a conference banner to a LinkedIn feed.

LOGO / LOGOTYPE

The primary Aim mark establishes immediate recognition and authority, with secondary logo configurations that maximize legibility at any scale or orientation.

COLOR SYSTEM & TYPOGRAPHY

Four primary brand colors — shadow green, leaf green, sisal, and calico — give the brand warmth and range while the Finlandica typeface anchors the system with editorial weight and technical precision.

Investor Pitch Deck

With the brand foundation in place, Aim entered the Series B process with a pitch deck built to match the magnitude of the opportunity. Designed to communicate both the clinical stakes and the commercial confidence investors need to act, the deck pairs the platform's defining proposition — Transforming Neurosurgery with Real-Time MRI-Guided Robotic Precision — with somber, dignified patient portraiture that grounds the technology in human consequence. Multiple cover treatments give the team flexibility to tailor first impressions across investor contexts.

Our Work

Brand Rollout

With a strategic foundation and key brand assets in place, Aim enters the Series B raise ready — and the work continues. Active programs are now underway to put the brand in front of every audience that matters: investors, surgeons, hospital systems, and partners. Ongoing engagements span investor communications, website design and development, content strategy, tradeshow marketing, and broader brand development. More to come as this story unfolds.
