About the Work

Philips set out to expand its Zoom! portfolio, the number one patient-requested whitening brand, with a new whitening pen. They needed a manufacturing partner who could take it from process development to commercial production without disrupting a demanding launch timeline, while meeting new MoCRA regulatory requirements. Bringing the Philips Zoom! whitening pen to market required optimizing a new manufacturing process, installing and qualifying new equipment, and completing full process validation. Alongside the technical work, Build by Boyd supported the regulatory documentation and procedures needed to meet the requirements of the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act of 2022 (MoCRA).
