About the Work
American Natural Gas had plans to launch a new company; a consultancy that helps organizations strategically reduce their carbon footprint. With no existing brand assets, they turned to us for the works: brand strategy, corporate name development, brand design, and brand engagement. Brand Strategy
The first several weeks of our partnership focused on brand strategy; making sure that we had a solid foundation of intelligence upon which to construct this new company’s nascent brand.
CORPORATE NAME DEVELOPMENT
The name had to be relevant to their value proposition. The URL had to be available without any strange contortions. It had to look good, sound good, be concise, and be memorable. We landed on utilizing the number 6 (the atomic number for carbon on the periodic table) and the word beyond. Combined, those two components served as a meaningful corporate name as well as an invitation to their stakeholders to move past their reliance on carbon. Simply put, Beyond6 simply made sense—and the name was chosen.

We took a clean, minimalist, tech-forward approach as we brought the core Beyond6 visual brand to life.

The chosen logo incorporates a custom-drawn logotype, and a bold number 6.
