Boyd Biomedical Appoints Joseph Ting as Vice President of Design by Boyd Division

Lee, Massachusetts - Joseph Ting has joined Boyd Biomedical as Vice President of Design by Boyd. In his new role, Joe is responsible for the division Design by Boyd, which provides end-to-end design and development services for biomedical devices. He has joined the Company’s Senior Leadership Team and reports to the Chief Commercial Officer. 

The appointment will support The Company’s strategic growth plan by strengthening its suite of growth services for entrepreneurs and companies commercializing biomedical innovations. Clients can accelerate their product design, manufacturing, and marketing initiatives by leveraging these services.  

Effective design and development capabilities are in high demand because the regulatory challenges and soaring costs to commercialize medical devices continue to grow year over year. Boyd’s integrated growth platform allows The Company to offer clients a comprehensive, flexible, and responsive suite of services that support their commercialization process.

Joe is an experienced engineering professional and executive leader with extensive experience in the medical device and biotechnology industries. He has over thirty years of experience and a proven history of professional success. Before joining Boyd Biomedical, Joe was the Director of R&D at Blossom Innovations. He was also a founder of Catapult Product Development and is an Adjunct Professor at the Stevens Institute of Technology.
